LGBT parenting panel 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church in Coconut Grove

From attorney Elizabeth Schwartz:

The issues that LGBT parents face in raising our children are myriad. Participate in a panel discussion focused on issues that are important to LGBT parents and their children. The panel will present relevant material to increase awareness, develop understandings, and think about issues and challenges in ways that support child and family well being. A large part of the time will be spent on Q & A where participants ask questions, share their experiences and hear from other parents as well.

Saturday, May 3rd, 2014

Registration begins at 9:30am; Panel discussion from 10am-12pm
