A Lesson In Proper Foundations
(or... "Does Your Bra REALLY Fit???")

According to most foundation-wear professionals, almost 80% of women are wearing the wrong bra sizes. This results in women believing that bras are inherently uncomfortable and unnecessary. How mistaken! A bra that is fit properly will be most comfortable, and provide the support and silhouette most women desire. In this presentation, WIN's Noah Kitty will teach us how foundation-wear is just that - a foundation that supports your activity of the moment. She'll show us what to look for in a proper fit, the difference between band size and cup size, the different bras for various activities, and hopefully leave you feeling that your bra is your friend!

Membership Cards are being distributed at WIN meetings!  Make sure to attend and pick your card up!

7,000 women expected at Girls in Wonderland / Gay Day at Disney Women’s Weekend

News release from Yesi Leon:

girlsinwonder

Move over Snow White. Back off Sleeping Beauty. South Florida's top women's party producers Pandora Events bring a different brand of leading lady to the Wonderful World of Disney. Expect more than 7,000 women to turn out for their annual Girls in Wonderland extravaganza, one of the largest lesbian event in the state, June 4-7 in Orlando.

The events, hosted by MTV reality stars Dani Campbell (A Shot at Love with Tila Tequila) and Road Rules veteran Rachel Robinson (now appearing in RW/RR Challenge: Duel 2), coincide with the 19th annual Gay Day at Walt Disney World and raise funds for the National Center for Lesbian Rights.

"We've added more live music and spiced up the dance events this year with no increase in price," says Girls in Wonderland co-founder Yesi Leon. "Once again, we'll have something for everyone, from spectacular parties to a Polynesian Luau. We're even creating a late-night lounge at the host hotel to continue the party after the signature Girls in Wonderland event at House of Blues."

All of the greatest hits from previous years are back in full force: three bikini-filled days of pool parties, a live concert featuring Halcyon, club events with gyrating go-go girls, a relaxed three-course Polynesian Luau, and the hottest women's dance party of the weekend: the nautically themed Girls in Wonderland 8: Anchors Away.

The rapidly growing event now claims two host hotels: the nearly sold out Courtyard Marriott, ground zero for pool party action, the welcome reception, and luau; and its laid-back neighbor, the Fairfield Inn, which also hosts a pool party. Both hotels are conveniently located at Marriott Village, 8623 Vineland Ave., Lake Buena Vista, and will have shuttle service to off-site events. Rates start as low as $99 night (includes the pool parties); book at www.girlsinwonderland.com or call 1-800-922-3194 and use the reservation code "Girls in Wonderland."

Proceeds from the Girls in Wonderland weekend benefit NCLR, a national legal resource center that advances the rights and safety of lesbians and their families through litigation, public policy, and education. NCLR also provides representation and resources to gay men and bisexual and transgender individuals on key issues that support lesbian rights.
