The Pet Project helps "people living with HIV/AIDS or other disabling conditions to keep their pets by providing pet care and ongoing support," according to the group's website.

The Pet Project allows individuals with terminal and chronic illnesses to continue to provide for their companion animals in situations where financial hardship would otherwise preclude them from doing so.
