Lennar to build outside the UDB?

The Tropical Audubon Society is asking birders and other wildlife enthusiasts to tell their commissioners to veto Lennar's proposed development in West Kendall outside the Urban Development Boundary. Most helpfully, each commissioner's phone number is listed.

You forgot to mention why Tropical Audubon Society is asking for this veto. Reasons range from threat to the Everglades, our Water Supply, traffic, county budget, housing downturn, diminishing of our agricultural land... Lennar's project is just a bad idea all around and the commissioner's votes are appartenly up for sale.

Thanks, Shirley, for supplying the missing details.
