HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius to visit Miami


In an effort to inform the local community on the new Affordable Care Act (ACA), U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius will hold a special information session at Miami Dade College’s (MDC) Wolfson Campus in downtown Miami at 10 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 17.

Sebelius will discuss pertinent aspects of the ACA and what the new law means for the community, including coverage for the uninsured. 

MDC will also be hosting information sessions in the coming months for students and the community at large. Dates and venues will be announced soon.

The event is by invitation only, but is open to the working media.

The forum wil be held at Wolfson Campus, Chapman Center, (Building 3) Second Floor
300 NE Second Ave.

Free parking is available in the Campus’ parking garage in Building 7, 500 NE Second Ave.
