Navigators will offer in-person assistance on healthcare marketplace opening day

Navigators will be on hand when the Obamacare health insurance marketplace opens at 8 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 1 to provide in-person assistance in counties throughout Florida. The Epilepsy Foundation of Florida welcomes Floridians in Miami-Dade, Broward and West Palm Beach to these locations.
 
Miami-Dade:

The Epilepsy Foundation of Florida is one of eight organizations receiving federal grants to help uninsured Floridians enroll in healthcare plans and apply for possible subsidies on the new healthcare marketplace.
Navigators must be federally certified by Health and Human Services and state licensed through the Florida Department of Financial Services. The Foundation currently has 19 certified navigators with more in the pipeline. 
More navigator locations will be announced as we confirm them.
