Attention, healthcare shoppers: Enrollment help is on tap at the Microsoft store

On Monday, December 23, the Epilepsy Foundation of Florida, a state licensed and federally certified provider of in-person Navigation assistance for Floridians wanting to shop and enroll in the Health Insurance Marketplace, will host office hours at the Microsoft Store in the Dadeland Mall.

While most Navigation takes place in hospitals, offices and libraries, the Microsoft Store will provide a unique opportunity for consumers to receive information, review options and to enroll in the health care plan of their choice while completing holiday shopping.
"As the deadline for Affordable Care Act enrollment for January 1st coverage approaches, Miami consumers at the Microsoft Store can now add getting a new health care plan to their shopping list," said Karen Basha Egozi, CEO of the Epilepsy Foundation of Florida. "We appreciate Microsoft making this space available to help people celebrate the holidays with the gift of affordable health care."
The event is free, open to the public and made possible through a grant from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, with assistance from the South Florida Digital Alliance.
