Easterling's status still undecided

Antwain Easterling's playing status for tomorrow night's Class 6A title game remains undecided. I was at the school this morning and his mom and dad and aunt were among the family members pleading their case to Northwestern principal Dwight Bernard to let him play.

But it's up to the School Board to let him play. Should Antwain play and if he doesn't will the Bulls still finish with a state title in spite of the big distraction?

Goody

They don't need him and he should sit. Learning from your mistakes is more important than winning a football game.

RICK

I FEEL THAT INDEED ANTWAIN EASTERLING SHOULD PLAY. LAKE BRANTLEY SHOULD HAVE THE TEAM THAT HAS BEEN REFLECTIVE OF NORTHWESTERN AGAINST THEM ON THE FIELD. MY BIGGEST QUESTION. THIS INCIDENT HAPPENED ON SEPTEMBER 16, WHY WAIT UNTIL TWO DAYS BEFORE THE BIGGEST GAME OF THIS KIDS LIFE TO TRY AND NOT ONLY EMBARASS HIM, BUT THE TEAM AND THE COMMUNITY THAT IS PULLING FOR HIM. IF THIS SITUATION HAS WAITED THIS LONG. A FEW MORE DAYS COULDN'T HURT. LET'S BE REAL AND HONEST. WHILE I DON'T KNOW THE FULL CIRCUMSTANCES OF THIS CASE. I DO KNOW THAT A LOT OF WOMAN LOOK FOR OLDER THAN THEY ARE, I'M NOT SAYING THIS IS AN EXCUSE. JUST FOOD FOR THOUGHT.
