« South Broward dominates Chaminade | Main | Game Day: Booker T. just hours away »

Booker T. travels to Summerville, Day 2.

The team finally saw the place it will play when we traveled to Moncks Corner this afternoon.

The natural grass stadium at Berkeley High holds about 9,000 between the stands and the people that will lineup around the track.

ESPN is setting up its cameras already. Berkeley is Summerville's rival and how's this for state pride. A couple of people that were there setting up wished Booker T. good luck vs. Summerville.

Unfortunately, they didn't let us on the field. BTW did still practice earlier in the day.

One thing is for sure, this team has been well-fed.

We stopped at a place called Sticky Fingers. Between the ribs, spaghetti, mashed potatoes, the place was off the chain.

Among the other food stops were the always great Golden Corral and McDonald's.

I will have more coverage Saturday and after the game when I get back to Miami.

Game time noon Saturday, ESPN.
