Five South Florida high school softball players were named to the Louisville
Slugger/National Fastpitch Coaches Association All-South Region team this week. Gulliver
pitcher Sara Buchholz, catcher Jaimee Vega and infielder Olivia Alvarez, who will play
at UCF this fall, were the Miami-Dade County players selected. Pembroke Pines Charter
utility players Audrey Broyles and Lauren Sewell were chosen from Broward.
