Friday's big showdown with Booker T. Washington and Northwestern will be shown on CBS College Sports TV.
It's also this week's game for the Nike "5 Days 2 Friday National Road Tour." Brady Wilkes and Nick Reasons, who work for Max Preps will be covering the build up to the game on maxpreps.com. They travel all around the country to the biggest game each weekend.
And check out our weekly predictions package on Wednesday (which we're making sure is right this time).

What's the problem with Miami Northwestern's Administration? Why don't they honor coach and state series passes for their football game? What makes them feel that they are better than any other school in the state? They are required to honor these passes, but refuses and no one says anything about it. I this game was at Homestead, but you will see the signs posted this weekend at the game vs Booker T.

Northwestern has a bunch of pampas personnel associated with the program, however, I don't blame them, I blame the GMAC and the FHSAA for allowing them to do the things they do. Classic case of money talks, Northwestern is possibly one of the highest gate revenue schools in the state, therefore they are deemed untouchable. As we saw last week between Killian and NMB, the power seems to be shifting south again. Lets see what happens when the Bulls start getting beat on a normal basis by the old south end power houses as they did in the 80's and early 90's. Or have we quickly forgot that you may be on top today but down tomorrow.

That is so true. I love Fredricka Wilson but she is part of the problem too. She carters to the school. She was nowhere to be found during the sex scandal with Easterling but when Crew threathen to cancel the season she had "meetings" with alumnas and told them what to do. For example go to Crew's home. True Story. The West and slave plantation NMB are untouchable in Dade because of politics.

Please, the 90's. Are you talking about Southridge, b/c that was the only powerhouse. Thanks mainly to the Davis' brothers. The North was never weak, the Herald, and the media just talked more about the South. In the 90's who won State Titles? Southridge 91' and 93'. Northwestern 95' 98. Carol City 96' 97'. Killian won what in early 2000's, and the rest dominated by schools on the NW side. Now that the South has tanked, you guys are almost obligated to talk about the NW (and East now, respect NMB. So, Mr. Media, don't be upset because your precious down south, suberb schools are not dominated the football arena.

Both teams are pretty good but did we forget that Plantation and Miramar are playing. Were you four of the top players in the state and two of the top players in the nation on one field on friday night at plantation. You have Eugene Smith one of the top quarterbacks in the nation for miramar and Brandon McGee one of the top athlete in the nation should i say more

6A is wide open this year. The West is an average team this year. Not a west hater, but I don't know how they rated so high in the state. I have to assume that the entire 6A class is weak if they are ranked number 2 or 3. Their defense is good, but the offense is horrible.

Last week game against Homestead there was an error in the paper. The player that made the second touchdown was number #82 Jermal McClendon , a junior with a bright future !

This is the year for Columbus. I feel they are solid as a rock. We will beat Killian and then...........NORTHWESTERN. That will be our hurdle. We clear that, we are pretty good.
