BCAA All-Star game slated for Dec. 11

The BCAA will host its annual North/South All-Star game on Thursday evening, Dec. 11 at Lockhart Stadium at 7:00.

The game features 100 of the top seniors from schools who are part of the Broward County Athletic Association. The area’s best cheerleaders will also be on hand. The North team is coached by Greg McGirt (Pompano Beach) and Scott Barnwell (Hollywood Hills) and his selected staff will lead the South squad.

There is no way Coach Smith is going to let any STA players play in this game if they are still playing for a state/national championship!!!

STA Alum: It would stand to reason that if the Raiders are still playing, the kids won't be in the game, but before you push your chest out and proclaim "my kids would never compete in such an insignificant game", let me remind you that it's still an honor to be chosen for the event.

While the kids at STA may have all their college plans talent care of, the other 97 names listed still are looking for a scholarship, so come on down from that mountain with the rest of us plain, public school slobs, who bow down to the people who put these games on!
