Best of South Florida? You choose them!

With the season winding down, all-star teams will soon be chosen by The Miami Herald and other outlets in the region. If you had to make one all-star team of players from Miami-Dade and Broward, regardless of school size or grade, what would be the perfect first team for the nation's elite football region?

Is Eugene Smith your quarterback? How about the trio of Lamar Miller, Brandon Gainer and Devon Wright in the backfield with Gio Bernard, Corvin Lamb, James White and Eduardo Clements moving to the second team?

Who would be your kicker, defensive backfield, linebackers, linemen and receivers? What one head coach would you choose to direct this team?

Let's see who you would pick to face off with Los Angeles, Houston, Cincinnati, Atlanta or Dallas for the best prospect region in the country?

la salle kid has alot of potential but as long as he is at la salle he wont get any better...bad weight program + bad coaching + bad competition = no player development

Nathaniel Berry of Doral Academy Charter is a very underated player overlooked by the size of the school. This year as a junior he lined up at LB,DT,DE,OL,FB,TE and LS for the Firebirds depending on the situation and produced at all positions playing in every game very seldom coming off the field. His stats are not correctly updated in the Herald but he had a very good year leading the team in tackles. He is a hardnose throwback type of football player very smart and coachable.

John Morris

David Lopez has to be the kicker, hes amazing! If anyone has been to any of American heritages games they would know, he was putting kickoffs through the uprights and had 2 50+ yard field goals this year. He is by the far the best kicker in florida!

Ke'Andre Marion
