Booker T. offensive lineman Jose Jose transfers to Central

Here's some breaking news from sources close to both teams:

All-Dade offensive lineman Jose Jose officially transferred from Booker T. Washington to Central Monday.

 

Jose (6-3, 330-pounds), who verbally committed to Tennessee last Tuesday, helped lead the Tornadoes to the 2007 Class 4A state championship.

 

Jose will be joining a Central team that went 7-3 last season and lost to Northwestern in the regional semifinals.

 

Jose will likely anchor the Rockets offensive line as a guard, however he experience at both center and tackle.

 

Neither Jose, Booker T. coach Earl Tillman, or Central coach Telly Lockette could be reached for comment.

The kid's grandmother is ill and it's his desire to stay close to her. The coaching staff was just as surpised as anyone else when the young man showed up. Funny, schools like Pace, Gulliver and Northwestern are notorius for recruiting players but no one ever suggest that an investigation should take place. Let Central get a star player and everybody and their mama want to shine the spotlight on us. Even Cheryl Golden, the head of the GMAC, got into the act and called Booker T coach to "suggest" to him that he should file a complaint. And she did this without knowing all of the facts. But of course, she is only looking after her own interest because Northwestern has always been her personal cash cow. If anyone needs investigating, it should be her and how much she has gotten paid under the table by personally low balling Northwestern attendance, especially in big games like the one vs Central.

Big Man, as far as I know every coach was there all you doing is reading the herald giving your opinion on what you read, so am not going to get into details with you about the gun thing, because you don't have any idea how that situation went down so am going to ignore that comment. about his grandmother been ill if you read my post I never said I doubt it that, but in this county people talk to much and all the staff at BTW know this is football related and they know who is the guy behind this move, and bout the west balls sorry to tell you but central don't have what it takes to beat the west, proud graduated of NORTHWESTERN BULLS BABY class of 95 that's why I said the rockets don't have enough to be the MIGHTY BULLS look what happen last year in the playoff they can't beat us when it counted…..One last question how many championships central have let me know because I can’t remember………….
