While we have already established our commitment to football recruiting in South Florida, with our impressive team churning out videos, profiles, feature stories and player rankings, the Miami Herald has also proven to be a voice that the entire state is turning to.
With our recent top 100 list of rising seniors, which was validated by seeing every athlete ranked live and not relying on other lists and sources, our commitment of 12 months a year is evident. The feedback from around the state has been impressive as we have been at games, practices, camps and other events from Pensacola to Key West.
With our statewide spring game schedule, colleges from across the country used the Miami Herald as a daily source to plan their month of May with. They continue to check back as we spotlight athletes in the classes of 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013.
While many other publications want to be a voice across the state, we have proven with our team of writers, analysts and photographers, that this is place to get information. Currently, we have over 9,000 names in our database for the upcoming classes, and will continue to add to that list with live appearances at every camp and 7-on-7 tournament across the state.
While we have not forgotten our local coverage, which will include player rankings for the Class of 2010 and 2011 in Miami-Dade and Broward Counties, we will also start our statewide team profiles, giving fans and college coaches a glimpse into the best football in the country!
Thank you for making the Miami Herald the football recruiting authority.
