As I'm sure you heard and expected, St. Thomas Aquinas has been tabbed No. 1 in the country by every major poll.
And Aquinas wasn't alone in the top 10.
Miami Northwestern, winners of 43 of its past 45 games, open the season ranked sixth.
Aquinas and Northwestern are the only Florida teams ranked.
Aquinas, which in the past month has been tabbed the nation's top team by ESPN,
Rivals.com and the National Prep poll, opens the season next Saturday at Columbus, Ohio in
a game against Upper Arlington (OH) as part of the Kirk Herbstreit Series. The game is at
noon and will be broadcast live on ESPN. The Raiders will also play a nationally-televised
home game Oct.‚2 against No.‚2 Byrnes (S.C.).
Northwestern has one nationally-televised game Oct.‚8 against longtime rival Miami
Central at 7:30 p.m. at FIU Stadium on ESPN2.

THIS YEAR I THINK MIAMI NORTHWESTERN WILL ONCE AGAIN PROVE LIKE THE 2007 TEAM THAT THEY ARE NOT ONLY THE BEST AT THE WEST, BUT THE LOCATION FOR THE NATION. GO BULLS. STAY HUMBLE AND RUMBLE. PSALM 100
