Cliff Coleman commits to Ole Miss!

All spring and summer, there has been a lot of talk about Boyd Anderson’s defensive secondary. With Demar Dorsey on the way to Gainesville to play for the Florida Gators in 2010, the Cobras now have another Southeastern Conference performer to boast about.

On Friday, the University of Mississippi, which found a home in Florida last year with first year head coach Houston Nutt, received a verbal commitment from Cliff Coleman.

The impressive 5-11, 175-pounder, who combines speed and quickness, has been the talk of recruiting circles for months, and now this impressive defensive back will have the chance to play for one of up and coming programs nationally.

“I’m excited about the opportunity to pay for Ole Miss,” said Coleman. “I really liked the coaching staff and the direction the program is headed.”

Have a commitment to announce. Just e-mail Larry Blustein with the information and a contact name and number and we will get something up on our statewide list. Whether it's D1 or junior college, we want to let everyone know about it. LBlustein@miamiherald.com.
