Having the opportunity to watch many of the athletes in Miami-Dade and Broward Counties when they begin playing football at the youth football level, the Miami Herald will shine the spotlight on many athletes during the spring and summer.

Edwards has played inside, outside and was even positioned on the end as a pass rusher, which has shown colleges how versatile he is.

In a program that has more than put its linebackers in the spotlight, here is another one who has athletic ability, quickness and is a true play-maker.

In addition to getting it done on the football field, he has also made an impact at camps and other testing events.
