Trainers R Us Combine set for Feb. 5

MIAMI GARDENS - As demand for our services has increased over the past five years, we have recognized the need to expand our showcases to include more cities, more athletes and more grade levels. The Trainers R Us Combine will be held on Saturday, February 5th at the Betty T. Ferguson Sports Complex 3000 NW 199th St. Miami, Fl. 33056.

Very few athletes are considered elite recruits; therefore, it is important for the majority of high school football players to get assistance with the recruiting process. Our goal is to provide opportunities for athletes to gain early college football recruiting exposure in every town in the U.S. We will gear our efforts towards athletes that are flying under the radar, and the athletes that need a boost to jump up on a college recruiter’s big board.

All current high school junior football players are eligible to test and perform before some of Miami Dade and Broward County top high school coaches & college recruiters. The testing of skills will be very similar to the NFL combine. Testing includes: 40-yard dash, shuttle run, broad jump, vertical leap, cone agility drill and physical measurements. The results will be posted on the web and made available to every college football coach in the country. The top athletes will be invited to attend in the 2012 Private vs. Public All Star football game.

We want to be the place where every college looks to find players, whether they are from Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach or Monroe counties. We’re excited to see what the future holds for our athletes.

The combine camp will be run by Mario Smith and his staff, and will also include high school football coaches that will assist with time and encourage athletes do their best in the combine. Smith has trained, coached and worked with more than 8500 athletes in Dade and Broward County and is widely recognized as the authority on speed, football and athletic development.

The combine will be filmed live by La Ley Sports and available for participants to view. Coaches will also have the opportunity to see participating players in action by visiting www.laleysports.com.

Participating players will also be recognized and awarded for the top scores in each category.

The combine is open to the first 200 current high school junior football players that return all required paperwork. For more information and to secure registration materials visit the official website, www.trainersrus.net or call 786-285-3699.
