HERALD SPOTLIGHT: Fabian Moreau

Fabian moreau-rb-2012-western1
Having the opportunity to watch many of the athletes in Miami-Dade and Broward Counties when they begin playing football at the youth football level, the Miami Herald will continue to shine the spotlight on many athletes during the pre-spring, spring and summer.

With the chance to see the athletes away from the football field as well, we can bring you up close and personal with some of the top prospects in the nation - right here in our own backyard.

Don't forget that the exposure continues on FACEBOOK (Herald Recruiting) and via Twitter @ larryblustein.

PLAYER: Fabian Moreau

YEAR: 2012

SCHOOL: Western

CITY: Davie

POSITION: RB

HEIGHT: 6-0

WEIGHT: 170
HEAD FOOTBALL COACH: Rashad West

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW: In a region that has more than its share of quality backs, here is yet another to add to that growing list of D1 prospects who have only scratched the surface when it comes to talent.

A very good line from scrimmage runner who has quickness, tremendous vision and a knack of knowing where the hole is - and getting through it - quickly.

The potential of this outstanding prospect goes further than most backs. Being 6-foot is a tremendous advantage when it comes to vision. It also helps when you can catch the ball the way he does, which gives college recruiters and those who evaluate talent another avenue.

His size and athletic ability puts him a tremendous situation. Receiver would be an idea position, and with his natural running instincts, this could be a player who continues to grab the spotlight with so many positives working in his favor.
