Having the opportunity to watch many of the athletes in Miami-Dade and Broward Counties when they begin playing football at the youth football level, the Miami Herald will continue to shine the spotlight on many athletes during the pre-spring, spring and summer.
With the chance to see the athletes away from the football field as well, we can bring you up close and personal with some of the top prospects in the nation - right here in our own backyard.
Don't forget that the exposure continues on FACEBOOK (Herald Recruiting) and via Twitter @ larryblustein.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW: There may not be a defensive back who has made more of an impact this spring with his aggressive style of play. This is a quality football talent who burst onto the scene last year as a member of one of Florida's most talented secondaries.
Followed up a sound junior season with a tremendous off season - with outstanding play at the Badger 7-on-7 event in Tampa and at every combine he has taken part in.
This native of Milwaukee arrived in south Florida and immediately fit in with his quickness, strength and superb ball skills. Most colleges who have watched him play love the way he hits and makes big plays.
If you watch him enough you will fully understand why college coaches simply love his style of play. He backs off from nobody!
