WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW: In a region loaded with talent, here is one of those quality football players who will start to emerge as an elite player.

While he played a role during the Rockets' 2010 run to a 6A state title, this is a prospect who will become more of a force this year during a season in which his senior leadership and performance will be essential. He showed several times this past year how special he will be.

Having watched him play two years ago while he was Killian, his growth and maturity have really started to kick in as he has already proven that he has a chance to be one of the most athletic and physical players on an always athletic team.

As we head toward spring, this is a player to remember for so many reasons. he has the size, speed and plenty of athletic ability to make a real impact in 2011.
