HERALD SPOTLIGHT: Jeremy Glinton

Jeremy Glinton Northeast1
Having the opportunity to watch many of the athletes in Miami-Dade and Broward Counties when they begin playing football at the youth football level, the Miami Herald will continue to shine the spotlight on many athletes during the pre-spring, spring and summer.

With the chance to see the athletes away from the football field as well, we can bring you up close and personal with some of the top prospects in the nation - right here in our own backyard.

Don't forget that the exposure continues on FACEBOOK (Herald Recruiting) and via Twitter @ larryblustein.

PLAYER: Jeremy Glinton
YEAR: 2012

SCHOOL: Northeast

CITY: Oakland Park

POSITION: WR

HEIGHT: 6-1

WEIGHT: 175

HEAD FOOTBALL COACH: Donnell Bennett

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW: Yet another top flight prospect who has been getting a lot of attention during the spring.

A talented pass catcher who has tremendous hands, runs very good routes and creates separation with 4.56 speed and a knack of knowing where to run.

Really benefited in a major way last season as sophomore Stacey Coley grabbed much of the attention, and in return, gave Glinton an opportunity to showcase his skills.

No matter where we watched him in the off season, coaches have made positive comments about his play as a receiver and the way he works in practice.

While many quality football players turned some heads in the winter and spring, here is someone who continues to make an impression.
