Come be a part of the most unique and comprehensive youth football combine experience.
On Friday night, June 3, youth football players from across South Florida are welcome to take part in a combine that you’ll be talking about for years.
From 6 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. at Mullins Park, 10000 NW 29th St., (on astro-turf surface) in Coral Springs, football players from 11-14 years of age will get an introduction to the sport in a way they never thought possible.
Former University of Maryland and Cardinal Gibbons graduate Ken Mastrole (Mastrole Passing Academy) and one time University of Kansas and St. Thomas Aquinas star running back “Tuxedo” Tony Sands, will join a number high school coaches to teach and take each player through the combine setting - most for the first time.
WHAT’S IN IT FOR ME - THE PLAYER?
Not only will every player have the chance to learn football skills and technique from high school coaches, but their progress will be charted every year in this event and passed on to Elite Scouting Services for their high school combine.
From player information to video highlight, each athlete will be able to post information on their page on the popular Generation Nexxt Youth Sports website.
High schools will also be made aware of the event and the results from the testing portion.
Each athlete will have the option to participate in each event. Ranging from the Standing Broad Jump to the 40-yard dash, vertical jump, shuttle run and others to test the athletic side of the athlete.
Members of the event will take time out after testing - and before the football drills - to talk with parents and athletes about what lies ahead in recruiting. Focus will be on work in the classroom, where there are simply NO options! High school coaches will share with the player and the parent how to prepare for a successful high school career.
Teaching the actual football portion of the event will be coaches, who have been putting high school programs together for decades. From position breakdowns and instruction to “one-on-one” matchups, everything is covered.
This will easily be the most publicized event around. From “Youth Football Authority” Generation Nexxt setting up shop to WQAM (Radio), to the Miami Herald and Sun-Sentinel, Friday Night Lights - Youth Football Style has you covered.
For $35 ($40 night of event), each athlete can get a jump on the competition by learning and performing at the same high level high school players do every week. For payment (Pay Pal Address) at www.mastrolepassing.com
Or you can log on to www.mygennexxt.com right now! Once you are on the site, click on the Friday Night Lights flyer, and sign up today! Don't miss your chance to edge out the competition...
