Legends of So. Florida Wrestling Camp

In an effort to see the sport of high school and youth wrestling grow, youngsters will have an opportunity to learn from some of the sport's best.

Here is your opportunity to learn the sport and gain an edge on those who you will compete against much of the year.

Randy Miller (Douglas), Allen Held (South Broward), Vic Balmeceda (South Dade), Robert Wimberly (St. Thomas Aquinas) and Charlie Morgan (Western), some of the most respected South Florida high school coaches, will host the Legends of South Florida Wrestling Experience from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the International Village in Inverrary June 13-17 or June 20-24.

The event is open to youngsters 10-18 and will include a daily lunch as well as a T-Shirt.

We need more wrestling camps in Miami Dade for children 5 and up wich is the time parents start looking for activities for the kids to do, if we want the sport of wrestling to grow in South Florida than we have to start them young and try to compete against the other sports.
