This weekend the nation’s preeminent high school football event, the Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl and national football combine, will be coming to Miami to evaluate the southern Florida’s best high school football talent for its 2012 events. A corresponding media event and skills camp will take place at Miami Central Senior High School (1781 NW 95 Street, Miami, FL 33147). Those on hand will have the opportunity to see local players put to the test by the United States Marine Corps and former NFL players and coaches; all under the keen eye of some of the nation’s top football instructors and talent evaluators. Players who shine may get an invitation to play in the nationally-televised bowl or Proving Ground football combine.
VISUALS:
• United States Marine Corps drill sergeants leading intensive warm-ups featuring real Marine drills
• One-on-one defensive/offensive player match-ups
• High-caliber athlete performance, above and beyond the average high school football game
Those expected to be on hand include: Shaon Berry (Semper Fidelis Bowl founder), former NFL player Eric Curry (formerly with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers), former NFL player Mark McMillian (formerly with the Kansas City Chiefs), former NFL coaching staff member and consultant Mike Sims (formerly with the Philadelphia Eagles) and United States Marine Corps representatives
