Admire, Dellenbach and Tyrell on radio

Maroonefronters1
The Maroone High School Gridiron Report returns to Tuesday this week, and it's time to turn up the playoff volume!

Joining Larry Blustein between 9-10 p.m. will be Belen Jesuit quarterback Danny Admire, American Heritage head coach Jeff Dellenbach, Chaminade-Madonna head coach Tim Tyrell and Jonah Woullard from the Generation Nexxt Youth Sports Network.

SHOWING LEADERSHIP
Football fans across the state or still talking about Belen Jesuit's come-from-behind 36-28 thrilling district win against power Northwestern, and one of the players who engineered the win is a senior who has learned and watched through the years to prepare himself for a comeback of that magnitude.

The 5-11, 175-pound Admire is in his second year as a starter for the Wolverines, and his athletic ability and knowledge of the field has helped him become that leader.

The Wolverines will play Mater Academy this week before what appears to be the district title game next Friday at Central.

DISTRICT TITLE UP FOR GRABS, PART 1
In his brilliant 17 year professional football career, there were many things that prepared Coach Dellenbach for the position he's in today.

As his 6-1 Patriots get ready to face off against 6-1 Cardinal Gibbons on Friday night for the district lead, the one time Dolphin, Packer and Patriots offensive lineman is confident that his team is ready.

This is Coach Dellenbach's first year at American Heritage, and like he did in his time at North Broward Prep, he has won quickly and put young athletes in the right positions.

DISTRICT TITLE UP FOR GRABS, PART II
There is no hiding that when the schedule was made in the district this year, all eyes were peeled on that date OCTOBER 28TH. That was the meeting between Chaminade-Madonna and University School.

This Friday, the unbeaten Lions will play host to the unbeaten Suns, and if there's anything that Coach Tyrell has learned in his career as a player (Youngstown State) or as a coach, if you are prepared, you can compete against anyone.

Last year, Chaminade gave University School one of its best games during a season where the Suns advanced to the thrilling 2B state title contest with Ocala Trinity.

YOUTH ON THE RISE
Each and every week, we are joined by Jonah Woullard from the Generation Nexxt Youth Sports Network who fills us in on the top games, players and coaches on youth football fields from Key West to West Palm Beach, highlighting the future high school football stars.

The show can be heard live at www.wqam.com or archived at the popular http://sfhighschoolsports.com.
