Watch Erin Dimeglio, a senior at South Plantation High, throw a couple passes to her teammate on Tuesday.
Now that she has permission from her parents, Dimeglio, a star point guard on the girls' basketball team and flag football team, will be the third-string quarterback for the Paladins this coming season. Her dream: "To throw a touchdown pass in a real game."
Coach Doug Gatewood will keep her in the shotgun and play her in games that are blowouts or are decided.
