What about the D-lineman at South Dade #67 I think his name Ponce Jones, that kid is a stud.
Posted by: Tony | October 09, 2012 at 09:56 AM
I agree that #67 from South Dade put a stop to killian running attack, and allow his linebacker to roam free..He is a stud with great quickness and power....
Posted by: killian | October 09, 2012 at 10:03 AM
Linebacker Kendrick Fountain #55 at Killian has been making plays all season with standout games against Homestead, Southridge, and South Dade...the films don't lie.

eventually you guys are going to have to give the kids in South Miami repect. there are some good players down there. Leo Lorenzo ,Jamal Brown and Corey Moss, dont be the last to notice.

what about that d-linemen from southridge??? 6'3 240, 4 sacks and 19 tackles in 7 games hes pretty solid. only a junior, he should defineatly be on this list.Ryan is his first name i think.

I just saw Southridge up close tonight....Darby the best cornerback in the 2014 class...GET REAL!! And in reference to the SR D-lineman, the little #22 from South Dade ran through them tonight. Re-assessment is needed.

Gregory Howell one of the players of the week 11-12-2012. This young man made sure the Coral Gables got into playoffs by leading the team in a three way tie breaker between Miami High and South Miami. Check the article out in the Herald from 11-6-2012. One more time for Gregory AKA Buddy.

The best unrated receiver is Stanley Clerveaux 6'4 receiver from North Miami #19
Posted by: Football Fan | November 20, 2012 at 12:36 PM
Once again Gregory Howell from Coral Gables ran for the 67 yard touchdown in the last 26 seconds of the playoff game against North Miami Beach on 11-15-2012 to win the game that everyone was sure was going into overtime. This kid has true potential. Another access he's an honor student.

The Top receiver in the state is by far Steven Ishmael of North Miami Beach. He been doing his thing on the field since his freshman year. He does it on both sides of the ball. Ishmael became a starter as a sophomore and prove that anybody that lined up in front of isn't able to stick him by their-self, The tape don't lie.

Until your wr is tripled covered by a team like Miami Northwestern and he still gets off, shut up about your WR being the best. Ermon Lane is the best hands down!!! His stats came aganist the hardest district in the U.S. two years str8! And he plays both side of the ball as well! ERMON LEE LANE!!!!!!!!!!!

You all should see James Jackson IV RB/ILB for Ransom Everglades Varsity Middle School Football. He rushed for over 1,200 yards and 10 touchdowns for the JV team in 6th grade (300+ against University School, with 3 touchdowns), and for over 1,000 yards last season (7th grade), with 8 touchdowns. He played behind an 8th grader, but still continued to put up strong stats. He also had over 50 tackles at ILB in 6th grade, and over 30 in the 7th grade. This is a player (5'6", 146lbs) to watch this fall at the middle school level. He also plays basketball at Ransom (2 guard, leading scorer), and runs the 100 and 200 yard dash for track and field. Check Him Out!

About half of the dbs in a D1 school can't stick Steve Ishmael Ask a few NFL players and some college players that he lined up against. Not to mention he been doing the same thing since he was 9years old but the only difference is that he is bigger taller faster and could take over the game on both sides of the ball. He is the Steve Ishmaelof highschool football.

Bobby Stinson cornerback for miami springs had 5 interceptions and 12 pbu,,, {all-dade 3rd team} but should have beeen first or second team, good speed and is 6'1

Gilbert Johnson #1 Wr in the State...Southridge
Posted by: Bob | February 19, 2013 at 01:16 PM
This list missed out on Steve Ishmael from NMB Chargers. 900 + yds receiving 12 TDs and 5 Ints in 2012-2013 Dade County 8A high school football. He played against the West, Central, Apopka (on the road). He had 3 TDs against Central. Can't recall any drops this season (his Jr. year)! He beat triple coverage all season, and scored TDs while doing it.

By far, the best lockdown cornerback of 2014 class is Cornelius Floyd.
Posted by: Mr. Floyd | March 11, 2013 at 08:56 PM
Ismael from nmb is not even in ermon lanes class its not even close and ismael tepe does lie because against da west he got locked down by #5 and he only caught a pass when they took #5 out the game and the game was out of reach. Ermon lane is a freak of nature and is hands down the best in the state also query wilson from gables an 11th grader yall should look out for him. some of these top ranked players suck the rankings dont justify their talent
Posted by: football guru | April 09, 2013 at 10:33 AM
The best hands in high school football are NMB chargers Steve Ishmael don't know why he's not in the list but he's coming strong for this up coming season just like some other young man that are on that NMB squad!!!!!!!!!! GREAT HANDS........
