BALTIMORE - Under Armour, Inc. (NYSE:UA), the Baltimore, MD-based leader in sports performance apparel, footwear and equipment, announced the addition of Anthony Molina (Somerset Academy) to its roster for the 2014 Under Armour® All-America Baseball Game, powered by Baseball Factory. The game will be played at Chicago's iconic Wrigley Field on Saturday, August 16th at 6:05 p.m. CST. This will mark the first time in its seven-year history the Under Armour All-America Game will be played at night, creating the ultimate Major League experience for the players and their fans.
The Under Armour All-America Baseball Game showcases 38 of the best high school players, competing in an American vs. National team match-up. The players are selected by a committee of Baseball Factory scouts. The game will air nationally on MLB Network on Sunday, August 17 at 7:00 p.m. CST.
Anthony Molina's long, lean frame produces fastballs that sit in the low 90s with outstanding life. He also has the ability to reach back for more and touch the mid-90s. His curveball has depth and he has a good feel for his change. This is a very exciting young arm.
Since the games inception in 2008, 185 of the 208 draft eligible players from the Under Armour All-America Game were selected in the MLB Amateur Draft including 51 first round picks.
