What, no Bucky????? Ah, cause he has an album out. Got it!

Yep, I thought of Bucky, but he has a current single rising the Billboard Country Tracks chart (third single from last year's album) so he's pretty current with product on the shelves.
I AM looking forward to a second Bucky album, that's for sure! Go Bucky!

What about Jason Castro?

Jason finished higher in the most recent season so was/is more in the public eye and is on tour right now. He's not missed yet. (I only wanted to pick one from current season, Johns was dismissed much earlier in an upset).

Meanwhile when the Idols were on Larry King right after the season ended, Michael Johns was in Las Vegas being very cagey about why he was there. Larry kept pressing and Johns annoyingly evaded the subject. I was there two weeks ago and saw a billboard on a truck advertising some show with two guys--one being Michael Johns. I think he does some Vegas schtick and isnt allowed to promote it in conjunction with Idol. That said, I also think it's a comedy thing and that he's a big ham and has nothing to do with music. Anyway, fyi!

Jason finished higher

good one

How is Johns able to be touring the country AND appearing in Vegas at the same time? If he's got a gig coming in Vegas post-Idol tour that's one thing. And, no, he wouldn't be allowed to promote it on Idol tour. idol keeps its contestants to an iron clad contract and these puppets have to dance on those strings in this time frame.
If Johns gets a paying gig, good for him.
