The biggest pop star of the day, Taylor Swift, was on the same stage as the Jonas Brothers on ABC's New Year's Rockin' Eve tonight, live from Times Square in New York. She was there with host Ryan Seacrest and pop singer Lionel Richie.
So, you say? Recall that Taylor publicly blasted ex-beau Joe Jonas for dumping her on a brief phone call, which led Joe to defend his actions. Even his mother reportedly was angry at her son, urging that he apologize to the country cutie. Taylor got the last word, as she always does, on her current No. 1 album, Fearless, where she gets back at her ex on the feisty track, Forever & Always.
I was waiting to see if Taylor, 18, who towers over her teen ex, would kick his bony behind on national TV. Alas, no such luck (at least, not that we saw on the telecast).
Meantime, Idol Kellie Pickler channelled the charm of Dolly Parton as she chatted up the freezing New York crowd in the streets where tempts dipped to 19 degrees with a wind chill of 2.
