Michael Johns, the Aussie finalist from last season's Idol who tore it up on a Dolly Parton cover, prepares to release a debut album but first has two new singles on iTunes. Both are ballad-oriented. Heart on My Sleeve is a solo; Life Is Okay features harmonies from fellow finalist Brooke White.

Brooke also has an album coming out June 2nd entitled "High Hopes and Heartbreak"
Her first single off the new album is "Hold Up My Heart" and is available at iTunes now (this is the one she performed on an Idol results show this season).

I did like Brooke's 2005 indie album I'd bought off iTunes. Was promising. I sure hope her coming album is better than that disappointing song she performed on Idol this season. Real dull song. Hope the other tracks are better cuz I did like Brooke a lot last year.
