Twitter's a flutter with buzz and links to stories that have Paula Abdul's manager suggesting she may well not be back on Idol for a 9th season. Sounds like negotiating shenanigans, but, then again, as time hurries along to late summer when the judges have to start visiting cities to view contestant hopefuls that had been chosen by producers at initial audition rounds, it seems strange Abdul hasn't signed yet.
Four judges was also one too many last season. Simon and Randy are signed already, Kara wants to return she's suggested (but we don't want her, I'd hasten to add).
Also, Kara's awful song, No Boundaries, has been dropped from the Idols Live Tour, to the great relief of Kris Allen, I'm sure. So, when you pile into the BankAtlantic Center on July 29, that's one less thing you'll have to worry about.
No one invited her back to American idol.
