Say what you will about all the major hip-hop summer tours skipping South Florida, at least one local venue is doing its part to bring hip-hop artists down south.
The White Room in Downtown Miami will feature a performance by N.O.R.E. on Friday, July 3. The Capone-N-Noreaga rapper was last heard from in February when he was arrested in South Beach in the "yellow liquid" incident, as well as his surprise performance at Rock The Bells Miami in August 2008.
The N.O.R.E. show marks the third time in recent memory the White Room has brought '90s hip-hop acts: Smif-N-Wessun performed in May, and Jeru The Damaja was there just last week.

Why the hell am I gonna go watch a RAP show at a place called the WHITE room. Why don't you just have it at Jewish Heritage Center.
