Star rapper Lil Wayne made a surprise stop at the Argentine spectacle Fuerza Bruta at the Adrienne Arsht Center on Saturday night. Apparently Mr. Lollipop hid out in his limo while a female companion bought four tickets, then ducked in right at curtain time (when everything is dark) and ducked out just before the show ended without anyone but some stunned box office staff recognizing him. Although it seems like it'd be hard to miss a braid-bedecked, heavily tatooed, multi-million Youtube video hitting rapper standing right next to you in the crushed together, standing only audience mode of Fuerza, apparently the darkness - and maybe the fact you wouldn't expect to see a major pop star squashed up against you - kept Wayne incognito.
We know Wayne Carter has a place in Miami, but wonder what his interest was. Artistic curiosity? Inspiration for his next tour production? Just for fun?
