The fabulously smart, gutsy, and outspoken-with-something-to-say Residente, the rapper, lyricist, and frontman for Calle 13, will host Los Premios MTV on Oct. 13th at the Gibson Amphitheater in Los Angeles. The show, which will air that day on MTV Latin America in the Southern Hemisphere and on MTV Tr3s here in the States, is never short on attitude, but Residente should give it a steroid dose of unexpectedness.
"Thanks to MTV I’ll be able to tell millions of people whatever I want all at
once … ha, ha, ha," Residente says. "This is the first time - and probably the last - that I will
appear as host so don’t miss it. Afuego!"
