Cleveland-based rapper Kid Cudi may have skipped Florida with his Great Hangover Tour in July, but he'll be visiting Miami Beach's uber-trendy LIV Nightclub at the Fontainebleau on Friday, Aug. 28.
Best known for his spacey single "Day 'n' Nite," the South Florida performance will be one of his last before the release of his debut solo album, Man on the Moon: The End of Day. The disc will be released on Universal Motown and Kanye West's G.O.O.D. Music, and will feature assistance from West, Common, and indie duo MGMT.
Cudi has made a name for himself for his unique songwriting abilities (he helped West pen songs on 808s & Heartbreak) and sing-songy delivery. His current single, "Make Her Say," sits at number 11 on this week's Billboard rap song chart.

I had no idea Kid Cudi was from Cleveland. That is surprising and Im sure they are proud of him there. Its always cool when a big city not known for show business produces a new star. Reminds me of Detroit 5-10 years ago with Eminem and Kid Rock.

I wonder how much it costs to attend his show at LIV. Fontainebleu is a pretty swanky place so Im sure it wont be too cheap lol.

Fontainebleau doesn't say how much... but I'm pretty sure it'll cost a pretty penny to get in, and he'll probably only do a handful of songs. It's a shame Cudi didn't visit Florida on his recent tour.
