After a successful first run in the early half of 2009 with performances by Jacob Jeffries Band, Rachel Goodrich, Spam Allstars, Conjunto Progreso (with Arturo Sandoval), and other Miami staples, the DWNTWN Miami Concert Series kicks off season two in October.
Put on by the Miami Downtown Development Authority and the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation, the series brings concerts to Bayfront Park with performances by many of the lively, unique acts that call Miami home.
And best of all: It's free.
The second season kicks off Friday, Oct. 9 at 5:30 p.m. and features the eclectic sounds of Suenalo and the roots reggae band Jahfe.
