Saturday's Recession Busting "Death To The Sun" Festival is Free as a Bird and Chock Full of Local Bands!

 The prospect of cheap beer, a ton of bands, a flying trapeze and a slip n' slide sound like a great way to spend this saturday. Making all of that goodness free should send you to google maps for directions to the American Legion Hall in Morningside where Death To The Sun is taking place .  

Buried deep in the bill is West Palm Beach's Surfer Blood . Surfer Blood are a damn fine batch of power pop lads who play around with surf tones ala the Pixies  on their "Doolittle" album.  Surfer Blood are about to max out their livers by playing every night of  next month's CMJ festival in the hopes of getting a hip, fresh indie label to match their recent signing with uber-hip booking agency, Panache.  

The show starts at 1 PM, so bring sunblock, earplugs and your kids, so my daughter will have some to play with.
