If there's a touring troupe of garage rockers in the tri county area, chances are local garage kings the Jacuzzi Boys have hooked it up, dragged their friends to it and bought a case of PBR for the after party. Tonight's free gig sponsored by Sailor Jerry Rum ( rsvp right now to: sailorjerry.com/miamisept5 ) is no different - save for the free booze supplied by the kind folks at Sailor Jerry and Churchill's Pub having a (one night only) South Beach RSVP Door Policy.
The Jacuzzi Boys' garage rock guests tonight include Austin combo The Strange Boys. Like many garage acts these days, The Strange Boys eschew the use of distortion pedals and just crank up clean guitars to 11 - which can sound a little tepid on record - but works live just fine. Also joining this boys-night-out is Atlanta 77 punk act Gentleman Jesse & His Men. Jesse mines the Ramones ala Nobunny, but throws in a little Cheap Trick for pop sheen.
As the real benefit to Labor Day Weekend is having an extra day to rage - I highly suggest you get off your duff tonight and have a free night of rock and roll on sailor jerry and the jacuzzi boys. Corporate Rock never sounded so good.

This post is in truth assistive for somebody who has been having troubles with this situation. I have seen at a number of resources but to no avail. I will remain reading and determining here in the desire of at last getting past this.
