If only every festival was as considerate as Art Basel. Sure, Basel clogs Miami Beach and Wynwood every year with hordes of art damaged tourists, but they have the decency to throw us a free show on the beach every year.
This year's headliner for "Art Loves Music" is Metric, an indie rock Canadian quartet who have hit the hipster love button after nearly a decade on the grind.
The show is free and on the sand at Collins and 22nd street. Do you have a pulse? Do you dig gorgeous female vocals and big keyboard hooks? If you do - and don't have an invite to one of the uber secret parties going down tonight - put on some flip-flops and embrace this recession-busting, miami loving gift from the Swiss. It's almost as good as their chocolate.
