Miami Dade College has hired two new campus presidents.
Gina Cortes-Suarez is the new president at the InterAmerican Campus and Anita S. Kaplan is the new president of the Medical Center Campus.
Cortes-Suarez was interim president at the InterAmerican Campus for the past year. Kaplan arrives at MDC’s Medical Center Campus from Erie Community College in Buffalo, N.Y., where she served as executive vice president for Academic Affairs.

José Valdes-Fauli has been appointed as president and chief executive of The International Bank of Miami N.A., effective Jan. 31, in Coral Gables.
He has served as president and CEO of three local banks: Eastern National Bank, Colonial Bank in South Florida and Beach Bank.
