Two new campus presidents at Miami Dade College

Miami Dade College has hired two new campus presidents.

Gina Cortes-Suarez is the new president at the InterAmerican Campus and Anita S. Kaplan is the new president of the Medical Center Campus.

Cortes-Suarez was interim president at the InterAmerican Campus for the past year. Kaplan arrives at MDC’s Medical Center Campus from Erie Community College in Buffalo, N.Y., where she served as executive vice president for Academic Affairs.

Timothy C. Ingham has been named chairman of the board of directors at American National Bank, headquartered in Oakland Park. He has been a member of the board since 2000. He has served as vice president of Asterisk, a media, real estate and retail holding company, since 1999.

Additionally, Ginger Martin, who has served as president of American National Bank since March 2007, has been named chief executive upon the retirement of Gary J. Faysash. They both also serve on the bank's board of directors.
