Chief operating officer of Broward Health
Spencer D. Levine has been appointed as chief operating officer of Broward Health. He has been with Broward Health since 2006 and was the senior vice president and chief administrative, compliance and ethics officer of Broward Health.
Vice president of the Broward Health Foundation
Michael S. Long has been hired as vice president of the Broward Health Foundation.
Previously, he was president and chief executive the Broward Education Foundation, the fundraising arm of the Broward County School District. He is also a commissioner for the City of Lighthouse Point.
Board of trustees members for Our Kids of Miami-Dade/Monroe
Carmen Dominguez and Keith T. Ward have been elected to the board of trustees for Our Kids of Miami-Dade/Monroe. It is a non-profit organization that supports local control and leadership of the newly-privatized child welfare system in Florida.
Dominguez is chief administration attorney at Miami Dade College. Prior to that, she worked for the Department of Children and Families.
Ward is president of Quality Management North America. He also served as secretary and vice-chair of the Dade Community Foundation Board of Governors.
Chief operating officer at Leon Medical Centers Health Plans
Clifford J. Bauer has been hired as chief operating officer at Leon Medical Centers Health Plans, a Miami company with a Medicare Advantage contract.
Previously, he was a consultant and member of the board of directors for South Florida Hospital Association and Healthcare Association. He has served as chief executive Officer for Kindred Hospital in Fort Lauderdale, North Ridge Medical Center and Hialeah Hospital.

Dr. Alan M. Silbert has been elected to a two-year term as chairman. He has served as the chief of ophthalmology at North Shore since 1986 and has been a member of the governing board since 2004.

President of The Rhythm Foundation Board of Directors
Ricardo Taño Feijóo, principal of architectural firm RTKL Associates, has been appointed president of The Rhythm Foundation Board of Directors, a Miami-based nonprofit cultural organization.
Other new board members appointed were Jacqueline Hea of Nortel Networks, Bianca Moura of Bin 18, and Beco Dranoff, an independent music producer.
