Julie Braman Kane has been named president-elect of the Miami-Dade chapter of the Florida Association for Women Lawyers.
She's an attorney at Coral Gables-based Colson Hicks Eidson and will serve as president of the organization's Miami-Dade chapter during the 2009-2010 year.
