The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Southern Florida has appointed Brenda Yester (pictured) to chair its board of directors. Yester, vice president of revenue management for Miami-based Carnival Cruise Lines, will help lead the nonprofit organization as it seeks to grant the wish of every medically-eligible child in its 13-county Florida territory.
Joining Yester are Guillermo "Willy'' Gomez of Mellon United National Bank, as chair elect, Lisa Bauer of Royal Caribbean International, as chair-elect designate, and Dulce Stephens, as treasurer.
