Cash4Gold has named Shawn Kernes as chief technology officer. Kernes is a former eBay executive who prior to that served as the chief technology officer and vice president at StubHub. Kernes will oversee the development and implementation of technology strategies, engineering and technical operations.
Board of directors for Make-A-Wish Foundation of Southern Florida
The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Southern Florida has appointed Brenda Yester (pictured) to chair its board of directors. Yester, vice president of revenue management for Miami-based Carnival Cruise Lines, will help lead the nonprofit organization as it seeks to grant the wish of every medically-eligible child in its 13-county Florida territory.
Joining Yester are Guillermo "Willy'' Gomez of Mellon United National Bank, as chair elect, Lisa Bauer of Royal Caribbean International, as chair-elect designate, and Dulce Stephens, as treasurer.
