Jungle Island has appointed Ashley Serrate as public relations manager. In her new position, Serrate will oversee the park's public relations initiatives and media relations. Prior to joining Jungle Island, Serrate worked at South Florida public relations firm, Kreps DeMaria.

Pridelines Youth Services elects board members

Serrano Pridelines Youth Services has elected Eddie Serrano and Richard Murry to two-year terms on the the organization's board of directors. Serrano, a higher education and health consultant at Huron Consulting Group, will head the group's grants committee. Murry, founding partner of The Treister Murry Agency, a Miami Beach-based public relations and marketing firm, will head the group's marketing committee.
