PBS operator names chairman of board, new members

RayRodriguez Ramon A. Rodriguez has been named chairman of the board of directors of Community Television Foundation of South Florida, the nonprofit organization that operates PBS station WPBT2. Rodriguez is chairman of the board of Bank of Florida - Southeast. The board also elected elected three vice-chairs: Jack Lowell, Flagler Development Group, Coral Gables; Laurie Silvers, Hollywood Media Corp., Boca Raton; and Jim Rasmussen, SunTrust Bank, Fort Lauderdale. The board also added one new director,
Raul Valdes-Fauli, president, Miami-Dade County for CNL Bank.
